VETMEDIC
VETMEDIC is an exciting and innovative approach to medical and pre-medical education, utilising internet and mobile phone technology to provide students with the opportunity of experiencing the challenge of being on-call. The core of VETMEDIC is Vet-Medlink's online human and animal cardiology course, which covers a period of five weeks during which students can expect to spend some 3 hours a week (at times suitable to them) accessing VETMEDIC training materials. At given points on-call texts will be sent to students to which they have to respond with the correct information or diagnosis (based on their training). A successful overall on-call response score will lead to the Vet-Medlink Interactive Certificate.
VETMEDIC runs from the start of a calendar month between March and August, with students having the option of selecting the month in which they would like to take VETMEDIC. Booking early ensures you will have the start date of your choice. VETMEDIC has also been constructed so even those without mobile phones can take part.VETSCHOOL
VETSCHOOL offers the opportunity to have your UCAS statement personally analysed and returned to you with a detailed examination of the strengths and weakness of your application. Specifically you will be given advice on what should be changed and why; offering the opportunity to have errors corrected before you apply. Equally those areas of your forms that are strengths will be highlighted with advice and suggestions on how to improve and build on these strengths.
Once you have purchased VETSCHOOL you will be asked to submit by email an A4 personal statement. This will be sent to one of our examiners. They will then provide full comment and analysis of your application which will be returned to you as an mp3 which can be played on either your computer or any mp3 player.
